When Purpose Leads: Our Work with Not-for-Profits at P.S. MediaHouse

May 8, 2025 | News

At P.S. MediaHouse, we believe great design and strategic storytelling should do more than capture attention—they should drive change.

Over the years, we’ve partnered with not-for-profit organizations whose missions align with our values: safety, dignity, community, and hope. These partnerships have been some of our most rewarding, reminding us that creative work can be a lifeline when it’s in the right hands.

Here’s a look at the kind of work we’ve done—and why we’re proud to be part of these missions.

Interval House of Hamilton

We’ve had the privilege of supporting Interval House of Hamilton across a wide range of communications—everything from social media and website updates to branding, fundraising campaigns, AGRs, event themes, and printed materials. Every touchpoint was intentionally designed to reflect strength, safety, and resilience. Because support systems deserve to be seen.

Halton Women’s Place

Our collaboration with Halton Women’s Place has included a rebrand of their podcast, the creation of digital AGR materials, and the development of emotionally resonant holiday campaigns. We help shape messages that reach hearts—and open wallets. Halton Women’s Place shows up for women in crisis. We’re proud to show up for them.

St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation

When St. Joe’s needed a rebrand for their Mental Health Morning event, we were honoured to lead it—creating everything from the new logo to evites and promotional materials. We’ve also supported their annual gala with marketing collateral, billboards, signage, and campaign design. This is work that speaks to the soul of the city—and we’re proud to help amplify it.

Bernadette McCann House

For this smaller-scale, Ottawa-area organization, we offered essential communications support including website writing, social media, and awareness campaign messaging—often tied to grant funding. Even small teams need big voices. We help deliver them.

These are just a few of the not-for-profit clients we’ve had the privilege of working with.

Each organization comes with its own unique challenges, but one thing remains consistent: the power of well-crafted messaging and visuals to elevate a cause. Whether it’s developing a brand identity or supporting a fundraising campaign, our goal is always the same: to help amplify the voices that are doing critical, often life-saving, work in our communities.
